Jhpiego announces regional training course in male
circumcision
Jhpiego is pleased to announce an upcoming regional clinical training course in
male circumcision, to be held in Africa. The ten-day-long training is an intensive, hands-on course that will prepare teams of providers and trainers to implement male circumcision programs aimed at reducing the transmission of HIV/AIDS in high-prevalence countries.
The course will also integrate clinical training skills to assist participants who complete this course to teach other providers in their own countries. The course is tentatively scheduled to take place in March 2008.
